SUMMARY
SUMMARY
The cook is responsible for wowing our guests with delicious and timely prepared food. They work as a team to prepare and cook food for our 400-person Beer Hall, ensuring all food served meets the Boulevard standard of quality and craftsmanship.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare food for daily service
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Handle equipment, appliances, small wares, supplies, and tools
- Cook menu items in cooperation with rest of kitchen staff
- Process and manage food tickets ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, in a high quality and timely fashion
- Report equipment and menu issues to management
- Clean up stations and take care of leftover food
- Wash dishes used in kitchen throughout the day
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Follow all opening and closing instructions
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Proven working experience as a cook in a professional kitchen
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, works well in a team
- Will be required to have food handlers license
- Weekend work required
