Requirements
What You'll Do
As a Radiologic Technologist at Boulder Surgery Center, you will:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic and intraoperative radiographic imaging.
- Assist physicians during orthopedic surgical procedures using fluoroscopic imaging (C-arm).
- Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and quality imaging.
- Practice radiation safety and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiographic equipment.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and other clinical staff to support efficient patient care.
- Educate patients regarding imaging procedures and answer questions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with advancements in radiologic technology.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT certification.
- Colorado Radiation Safety certification.
- BLS certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire).
- Knowledge of radiographic imaging principles, anatomy, and radiation safety.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years of Radiologic Technologist experience.
- Previous experience in an orthopedic practice, ambulatory surgery center, operating room, or hospital surgical setting.
- Experience operating C-arm fluoroscopy equipment.
- Experience assisting physicians during surgical procedures.
