Job Summary
Join our vibrant team at Boulder Ridge Country Club as a Seasonal Lifeguard and be the vital guardian of safety and enjoyment at our private pool this summer! In this energetic role, you will oversee pool activities, check members in, ensure member safety, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. Your proactive approach and keen attention to detail will help create memorable summer experiences while upholding the highest standards of water safety. We're especially looking for candidates who are available to work throughout August and September, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool areas continuously to ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests
- Check members in,
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to promote a safe and enjoyable environment
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed
- Assist members with pool access, provide information about facilities, and deliver exceptional service
- Maintain accurate incident reports and safety logs throughout your shift
Requirements
- Valid lifeguard certification with current CPR and first aid training from a recognized organization
- Proven lifeguard experience in a public or private aquatic setting
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues confidently
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for pool maintenance or equipment handling
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods
