NIST is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor to lead building, grounds, and infrastructure maintenance operations supporting critical research facilities and field sites. This position oversees skilled trades staff, coordinates maintenance and repair projects, manages budgets and contractor work, ensures safety and code compliance, and directs emergency response and snow removal operations to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient site operations.

- Plan, assign, organize, direct, coordinate, schedule, expedite, and oversee the work of subordinate staff to carry out authorized construction, maintenance, repair, installation, and inspection activities for buildings, site infrastructure, vehicles, heavy equipment, and grounds at the NIST facility.
- Determine manpower, material, and equipment requirements for work projects and organize trade groups to ensure efficient and effective project completion.
- Serve as Snow Crew Chief, responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and participating in on-site snow removal operations.
- Provide technical direction and exercise administrative control over assigned personnel.
