The role involves providing animal and pet care, assisting in veterinary procedures, educating clients about pet health and care, and delivering excellent customer service. We are a cross trained team and do not have separate roles within our small GP practice. Qualifications • Assisting doctors with exams, treatments, and surgeries • Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, X-rays, and patient care • Scheduling, client communication, and check-in/out • Maintaining records and hospital cleanliness • Educating clients on pet health and preventive careAnimal Care and Pet Care skillsClient Education and Customer Service skillsVeterinary Medicine knowledgeGood communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team and independentlyPrevious experience in a veterinary clinic is a plusCertification as a Registered Veterinary Technician (R.V.T.) is highly desirable
