The District Attorney's Office of Boulder County is hiring a Process Server. The Process Server assists the District Attorney's Office with serving subpoenas in the front range area.
This is an hourly position with Boulder County. Work hours will vary, hours are typically 30 hours per week, but may shift based on business needs. This position will work out of the Boulder Justice Center located at 1777 6th Street, Boulder, Colorado.
Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
Hiring Hourly Range: $25.00 to 30.00 an hour, depending on experience.

Education And Experience
The District Attorney's Office is looking for a well-qualified candidates to fill our position. Any combination of relevant education and experience is encouraged. In this position, experience in law enforcement, POST certification and experience with CCIC/NCIC, TLO, Accurint, and Lumen, is preferred, but not required.
CRIMINAL BACKGROUND And FINGERPRINTING
Ability to professionally manage occasionally difficult or tense interactions with members of the public, while handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

- Works with the Investigation Unit to research cases and determine current location/contact information for parties to a case.
- Uses investigative tools to determine current location and contact information.
- Coordinates with attorneys and investigators on cases.
- Coordinates subpoena service with other agencies around the State or other States.
- Tracks subpoena service and case status using spreadsheets.
- Assists the Investigation Unit as needed.
