Stationary/HVAC Engineer

$29.22 - $43.83 an hour - Full-TIme Days, 40 hours per week
Boulder Community Health is seeking a Stationary/HVAC Engineer whose primary responsibility is for performing and/or overseeing the design, installation, maintenance, repair, and recommendation for replacement, overhauling of and/or operation of: air handlers, exhaust fans, steam boilers, steam distribution, condensate return, pumps, appurtenances, chillers, cooling towers, fans, compressed air, control air, generators, building automation systems, softeners, heat exchangers, and heating hot water units.

Qualifications
High School graduate/GED preferred
Trade/technical or vocational training as desired
Valid Colorado driver's license
5 years previous HVAC experience desired.
Experience in a health care environment desired.
Responsibilities
Must have experience in mid-pressure steam generation and hot water systems
Computer savvy as it relates to job effectiveness and boiler command computers
Tests and maintains water chemical logs
Repairs/maintain air handlers, cooling towers, compressed, controlled air, chillers and pumps.
Repairs/maintain boilers and appurtenances.
Changes filters in air handling units.
Responsible for preventative maintenance in assigned area.
Keep records and logs of work performed.
Performs minor electrical repairs.
Performs urgent corrective, routing and requisitioned repairs.
