Interventional Radiology Tech
Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303
$37.29 - $55.94 an hour - Half time, Days. 20 hours a week. (variable 10-hour shifts)
$2.50/hr for weekend shifts.
Boulder Community Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech who performs all angiographic, interventional and diagnostic radiology procedures floating between the two modalities at the discretion of the Radiology Supervisor/Imaging Manager.
This is for a cross-training position.
This will be for a hybrid technologist.
20hrs in IR and 20 in their original modality.

Qualifications
Six months on the job training or completion of an Intervention/Special Procedure program preferred.
BLS required by end of conditional period.
ARRT Required
Additional certification in: CV/CI/VI preferred
1 year as a Staff Radiology Technologist preferred.
Responsibilities
Perform function as a Radiology Technologist in interventional suite.
Perform all special procedure exams.
Responsible for call - after hours.
Schedule patient exams.
Stocking the Interventional Suite.
Ability to assess, treat and or care for patients of all ages.
Perform clerical/file room duties/computer use as necessary.
Uses radiographic exposure technique that minimizes radiation exposure. Properly shields patients.
Assists in the training of new technologists.
