$41.49 - $62.24 an hour - Per Diem Days, - 12 hours day shifts
*Range includes per diem differential $2.50/hr for weekend shifts.
Boulder Community Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Vascular Access Team (VAT) within Imaging & Interventional Radiology. This position is dedicated to providing vascular access services throughout the organization, including PICC line placement, midline placement, ultrasound-guided peripheral IV placement, and vascular access consultation.
This role is focused on vascular access and is not a traditional Interventional Radiology nursing position.
The ideal candidate will have experience placing PICC lines, midlines, and ultrasound-guided vascular access devices.

Qualifications
ICU / IR experience required.
Valid Colorado Registered Nurse license.
ACLS certification is required by the end of the conditional period.
BLS is required by the end of the conditional period.
Prefer Imaging/IR experience as well as/or PD Vascular Access RN experience.
Staff starting after 9/1/26 will be required to be Vascular Access trained within 12 months of hire
Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience a must.
Preferred Imaging /IR experience and or Vascular Access experience.
Moderate sedation experience preferred.
Responsibilities
a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } Perform PICC and midline catheter insertions utilizing ultrasound guidance and BCH-approved vascular access practices.
Assess patients and recommend appropriate vascular access devices based on clinical needs.
Place ultrasound-guided peripheral IVs as clinically indicated.
Provide vascular access consultation and support to inpatient and outpatient clinical teams.
Access and discontinue implanted ports as needed.
Monitor patients during vascular access procedures and respond appropriately to complications.
Maintain accurate documentation of vascular access procedures and outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary departments to improve vascular access outcomes.
Promote evidence-based vascular access practices throughout the organization.
