$40.00 - $63.17 an hour - Per Diem Days, Various hours per week.
*Range includes per diem differential. $2.50/hr for weekend shifts.
Boulder Community Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Behavioral Health Services Department, which serves the needs of young, middle, and older adults, the registered nurse functions as a direct patient caregiver within the unit's care delivery system, with increasing independence. Qualifications
Colorado RN license in good standing.
BLS required by end of conditional period.
1-2 years psychiatric experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition.
Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation.
Identifies patient learning needs, develops and implements an individualized teaching plan for patients.
