What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restorative Certified Nurse Assistant - Long Term Care position at BOULDER CITY HOSPITAL.?
We are looking for a Full Time CNA with experience as a Restorative Nurse Assistant for our Long Term Care Unit!
MUST HAVE A CURRENT VALID NEVADA CNA LICENSE. LONG TERM, or SKILLED NURSING CARE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
Schedule - Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
Compensation: $16.75-22.25 Hourly Based on Years of Experience.
GENERAL PURPOSE: To provide quality patient care and restorative services. Will work with Rehab Services team to ensure great restorative care for all residents with regard to ADLs, mobility, hygiene and other measures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Including, but not limited to:
- Bathing
- Feeding patients and using assistive feeding devices.
- Nail care
- Back rubs
- Educating on principles of good body mechanics and positioning and aligning patients.
- Prevention and care of contractures and deformities.
- Transferring patients from bed to chair, chair to tub, and chair to toilet.
- Principles and application of routine R.O.M's.
- Documentation and charting.
- Vitals
- Other duties assigned to CNAs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Certified to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- CNA with experience in Rehab services is preferred.
- Continued education on restorative measures with Rehab Services.

Day Shift (8 hour or 40 hour work week)
Salary : $17 - $22
