Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Transitional Rehab Unit. This unit focuses on patients transitioning from acute care to home or long-term care. The RN plays a key leadership role in managing patient care plans, coordinating treatment, and supporting staff while ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care
Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
Evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust plans as necessary
Lead and support the nursing team within the therapeutic milieu
Ensure all care is delivered in accordance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and quality standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal recovery outcomes
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Nevada RN license (in good standing)
Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency or Intensive Care nursing
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, and a team-oriented mindset
Physical ability to lift, walk, carry, and stand for extended periods
