Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Per Diem Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our Geri Psych Department. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you’ll provide direct patient care and support services that ensure comfort, dignity, and safety for our geriatric behavioral health patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on patient care and support under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
Respond effectively to patient emergencies and behavioral needs.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment, adhering to infection control and safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
Qualifications:
Current CNA certification (Nevada).
1–2 years of experience in Rehab, Geriatric Psych, or Long-Term Care preferred.
Current CPR certification or ability to obtain.
Familiarity with emergency procedures and use of personal protective equipment.
Special Requirements:
This is a Safety Sensitive Position, requiring vigilance to ensure the safety of both the CNA and patients under care.
