Service & Beverage ManagerReports to: General ManagerClassification: ExemptSchedule: On-site, including weekends and peak service periodsPosition SummaryThe Front of House Manager & Beverage Program Lead oversees daily operations while owning the development, execution, and quality standards of our non-alcoholic beverage program. This role blends classic floor management responsibilities with a deep focus on beverage innovation, consistency, and team training. The ideal candidate is hospitality-driven, highly organized, and experienced in building and maintaining a robust beverage program featuring specialty Japanese teas, specialty coffees, juices, tonics, smoothies, and wellness-focused drinks.Key ResponsibilitiesPurpose of the RoleTo ensure exceptional guest experience through attentive floor leadership and to elevate our beverage program through thoughtful creation, consistency, and operational excellence. This role will continue to evolve and additional responsibilities may be assigned to support operational needs and the beverage program’s development.Front of House & Floor ManagementManage daily FOH operations, ensuring smooth, efficient service during all shifts.Lead and support the FOH team with a strong presence on the floor, modeling hospitality, pacing, and service standards.Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, always upholding brand tone and café values.Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching of FOH staff.Support scheduling needs, labor management, and communication with kitchen leadership.Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the dining room, service stations, and beverage bar.Uphold all safety, sanitation, and operational procedures according to company standards.Beverage Program ManagementOversee the development, execution, and continuous refinement of the non-alcoholic beverage menu.Lead beverage creation, recipe development, testing, and seasonal updates across categories including specialty Japanese teas, specialty coffees, juices, tonics, and smoothies.Maintain and enforce quality control standards to ensure consistency across all beverages.Conduct regular tastings and staff training to ensure team proficiency and knowledge of each drink.Manage beverage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and cost control for all beverage-related items.Maintain organized recipe documentation, prep sheets, and beverage production SOPs.Collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure the beverage program aligns with overall concept and menu evolution.QualificationsMinimum 2–4 years of experience in a café, restaurant, beverage bar, or specialty drink program leadership role.Strong barista or beverage production background; experience with specialty teas, coffees, juices, or wellness drinks highly preferred.Demonstrated experience in beverage menu development and maintaining consistency across high-volume service.Excellent communication, leadership, and guest service skills.Strong understanding of FOH operations, guest flow, and team coaching.Ability to manage inventory, order efficiently, and track product usage.Highly organized, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Passion for hospitality, wellness-forward beverage concepts, and guest experience.Core CompetenciesLeadership & team coachingBeverage creativity & consistencyHospitality-driven decision-makingStrong communication & conflict resolutionOrganization and multitaskingQuality control & attention to detailTime management & operational awareness More detail about Boulange, please visit https://culinaryagents.com/entities/979897-Boulange
