Facilitator JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort

Boucher Brothers is immediately hiring Facilitators for the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort, Marco Island, FL 34145. The ideal candidates will gain experience in customer service, be able to work in a team environment, develop great communication skills, and have opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Retrieve linen from laundry facilities
• Return soiled linen to laundry facilities
• Clear soiled linen from vacated loungers throughout the day
• Retrieve and ensure beach amenity products are stocked to par levels
• Open and set beach games Open and set tiki huts
• Rake beach after opening
• Periodically pass along the main setup, Sirene section, members section, and Tikis to ensure all facilities are clean and in pristine condition
• Assist in the breakdown process during closing
• Participate in a preventative maintenance plan to keep all equipment clean and pristine
• Ensure all setups meet and exceed Boucher Brothers and Forbes Travel Guide 5-star standards

Skills Required:

• Previous experience in customer service
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Enjoy dealing with the public
• Great verbal communication skills

II. Guest Experience:

• Approach all encounters with guests in a gracious, attentive, courteous, and service-oriented manor.
• Regularly check all beach setups for cleanliness and standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to inquiries and issues as needed.

III. Compliance and Reporting:

• Guest requests will be passed along to appropriate team members to ensure all requests are met efficiently
• Frequent use of radio and clear communication with team when necessary
• Complete closing duties and necessary reports.
• Conduct frequent walk-throughs to ensure compliance with standards.

Physical Aspects of the Facilitator role:

• Frequent standing and walking; ability to remain stationary for up to 8 hours.
• Lift, transfer, and store objects up to 60 pounds.
• Engage in various physical movements and occasional climbing, kneeling, and lifting.
• Ability to drive beach carts with valid, Florida driver’s license
