Appliance Service Technician

Bouchard-Pierce is looking for a dependable, motivated Appliance Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing major household appliances while providing exceptional customer service in customers’ homes.

What You’ll Do

• Travel to customers’ homes to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair major household appliances.
• Complete service calls efficiently while providing professional and courteous customer service.
• Use a company-issued iPad to document service calls, repair information, and customer transactions.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding appliance issues, repairs, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate electronic service records and submit completed repair information through the company system.
• Maintain company-provided tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Attend required training to develop product knowledge and technical skills.
• Follow all company safety procedures and service standards.
• Represent Bouchard-Pierce professionally while working in customers' homes.

Qualifications

• Previous appliance repair experience is preferred but training may be available for the right candidate.
• Mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or gas experience is a plus.
• Technical certifications or trade experience are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing a daily service schedule.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be comfortable working in customers' homes.
• Ability to safely lift and move appliances and equipment as required.
• Valid Vermont driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a company physical and drug test.

Schedule

Full-time | Monday–Friday

Exact hours will be determined based on business and service department needs.

Compensation

Compensation is competitive and based on experience, technical skills, and qualifications.
