At Bottomline Construction, we understand that successful projects are built long before the first truck arrives. Specializing in high-quality vertical and horizontal concrete, we are seeking a driven Assistant Project Manager to join our office team and grow into a leadership role.
This is not an administrative position. We are looking for someone with real field experience who speaks the language of rebar, formwork, and pour schedules and is ready to apply that knowledge on the business side of construction.
The RoleAs an Assistant Project Manager, you will serve as a central hub for project execution, ensuring alignment between field operations and office planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimating and Take-offs: Perform accurate quantity take-offs for slabs, walls, and structural elements
- Logistics Coordination: Manage pour schedules and coordinate with ready-mix suppliers
- Project Support: Handle RFIs, submittals, and cost tracking to support field success
- Preconstruction Insight: Identify drawing conflicts, scope gaps, and yield risks before they impact production
- Minimum 3 years of concrete experience in the field
- Strong working knowledge of reinforcing steel, formwork systems, and placement processes
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to take initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn construction management software
- Exceptional attention to detail and understanding of cost impact at the project level
