What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Bottomley Enterprises?
Bottomley Enterprises is growing and we are looking to add a Customer Service Representative to our team in Mount Airy! Hours are M-F 8:00am-5:00pm and every other Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm. If you work on that Saturday, then you will get a half day off during the week!
Customer Service Representative
- Communicates and coordinates with customers regarding freight pickups/deliveries/ETAs.
- Responds to emails from customers.
- Updates pickups/deliveries in customer TMS systems.
- Communicates and coordinates with Planners/Driver Managers
- Schedules appointments for freight pickups and deliveries.
- Tracks shipments to ensure timely deliveries/pickups.
- Answers phone calls regarding customer service.
- Manages detention/layover requests for trucks being detained by shippers and receivers.
- Enters orders in McLeod TMS.
- Manages rate entry into McLeod TMS.
- Accepts/Rejects order tenders from customers based on input from Order Planners.
