Propane Service Dispatcher/Office Clerk

Job Summary
Bottini Fuel, one of the largest Fuel and Propane providers in the Hudson Valley is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Propane Service Dispatcher/Office Clerk to join our team in our Saugerties Branch. In this vital role, you will coordinate propane service appointments, manage dispatching operations, and handle administrative tasks to ensure smooth communication between customers and the service team. Your proactive approach will help optimize schedules, improve customer satisfaction, and support efficient logistics operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our propane distribution process, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely service delivery. This position is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30 with the expectations of flexibility, weekends and overtime which are mandatory during peak times.

Responsibilities.. not limited to:

• Schedule and dispatch propane service calls using Pegasus dispatching program through Adds Systems. and GPS technology to optimize routes and ensure timely service.
• Communicate effectively with technicians, customers, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems and email to coordinate appointments and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain accurate data entry in systems such as Microsoft applications and ADDS Systems.
• Handle phone etiquette professionally while providing exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to propane services, scheduling, or billing.
• Support logistics analysis by reviewing transportation planning data to identify efficiencies or areas for improvement in dispatching procedures

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Applications
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information over multi-line phone systems and written correspondence.
• Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy.
• Experience with dispatching in a fast-paced, high demand environment
• Analysis skills to interpret transportation data for planning purposes; ability to utilize transportation management software for route optimization.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining professionalism through excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; whether working independently or with team members. Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
