HOST RESPONSIBILITIES
include but are not limited to:
- A host’s duties primarily focus on ensuring that guests have a positive experience as soon as they walk through the door
- Welcome customers with immediate warmth and ensure guests are seated and receive attentive service
- Comfortably manage the flow of the dining room, help guests with reservations and maintain a waitlist of patrons during busy hours
- Optimize seating at different tables to ensure even workload for servers
- Demonstrate leadership by displaying job expertise, initiative, a positive attitude and have exceptional communication skills
- Perform station opening, closing and side work duties for each shift and always check out with the manager on duty
- Understand and embody the Bottega Louie lifestyle, mission and brand
COMPENSATION
- Top performers earn approximately $25.00 - $32.00/hour including tips (based on recent average sales data and depending on volume and performance)
- $17.87 - $20.00 of hourly compensation $8.00 - $12.00 of tips (based on recent average top 25% of sales data)
- Tip pool participation subject to California Labor Code & Fair Labor & Standards Act
- 48 Hours Paid Sick Leave per year (Accrues at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked subject to an 80 hour cap)
