Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Event Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a variety of events, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional guest experiences. Duties
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, catering arrangements, décor, and entertainment.
- Manage event timelines and ensure all activities are executed according to schedule.
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored event solutions.
- Upsell additional services or products to maximise revenue opportunities during events.
- Oversee on-site event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements are in place and functioning correctly.
- Maintain clear communication with vendors, staff, and clients throughout the planning process.
- Handle guest services during events, addressing any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist with fundraising activities related to events when applicable.
- Monitor budgets and manage resources effectively to deliver successful events within financial parameters.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event coordination, hospitality, or related fields such as restaurant or hotel management.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanour.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling and increasing revenue through service enhancements.
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in guest services or hospitality sectors is highly desirable.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
