We are currently hiring Cultivation Assistants.
CULTIVATION ASSISTANT
Cultivation Assistants work hands-on in our cannabis grow facility and assist with all aspects of cannabis cultivation, including cloning, pruning, transplanting, harvesting, trimming and cleaning. Cultivation Assistants will work semi-independently and due to the rote nature of the job, a strong work ethic is required. This is a part-time position, between 15-25 hours/week..
JOB OVERVIEW:
Production Assistants are part of the behind-the-scenes magic at our dispensary and assist with all aspects of getting products from the back-of-house to the retail sales floor. Tasks include hand-trimming Botanica's boutique in-house brand flower, packaging and labeling all products, and assisting with certain aspects of cannabis cultivation. Production Assistants will work semi-independently and due to the rote nature of the job, a strong work ethic is required. This is a part-time position, between 15-25 hours/week..
Botanica has a small, boutique-style cannabis grow. We are not a large facility. We are a small start-up, and will require you to pitch-in at every level of the business. “That’s not my job” is considered bad language in these parts!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow state compliance laws while interacting with plants at any stage of their life-cycle
- Assist with all aspects of cannabis cultivation
- Take ownership over specific duties and tasks, as assigned
- Trimming cannabis flower
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks
- Other tasks as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to sit/stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to work autonomously and independently
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Get-it-done attitude
- Previous experience with cannabis preferred but NOT required!
- Must apply for and receive a state-issued Facility Agent card. The cost of this card is $300 and belongs to you. It allows you to work in any dispensary in the state of Arizona.
- **MUST BE 21 to work in state-licensed dispensary!
