Bartender

Our Bartenders are responsible for providing guests with both classic and innovative beverages that will leave a lasting impression, while also providing a warm and welcoming environment. These individuals should be enthusiastic and engaging. This position will report to the Beverage Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare beverages for bar and restaurant guests in a fast-paced environment
• Safely operate juicer, frozen drink machine, and other relevant equipment
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
• Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties, and menu deviations of bar menus as well as dining menus
• Interact with guests, take orders as needed, and serve food and beverages
• Readily provide drink suggestions based on the guest’s entrée choice, flavor preferences, etc.
• Transmit orders by recording patrons' choices by position number, identifying patrons' special dietary needs and special requests
• Obtain revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; delivering bill and payment to host; returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Assist with special events as needed
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently 
• Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Previous alcohol training and/or certification a plus
• Excellent oral communication skills required
• Positive interpersonal skills required
• Organizational skills and ability to multitask required
• Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English
• Ability to listen
