Job Summary:
The Network Support Specialist will support and maintain DJJ’s network infrastructure and Office 365 tenant to ensure reliable connectivity and access across all critical sites. This role involves both routine and limited on-call duties, focusing on wired/wireless networking, account management, and infrastructure improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to help desk tickets related to wired/wireless network issues and account onboarding/offboarding.
- Participate in on-call rotations (Level 1 & 2) for network and infrastructure support.
- Assist in network rollouts, upgrades, and cleanup projects.
- Provide administrative support for Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Windows Server environments.
- Contribute to infrastructure documentation, inventory management, and server maintenance tasks.
1. Basic Windows Server maintenance
2. Monitoring and performance tuning
3. Patch management and updates
Required Skills:
- 10 years of experience in troubleshooting wired and wireless networks
- 5 years with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration
- 5 years in Windows Server maintenance and support
- Hands-on experience with ticketing systems (help desk support)
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Deskpro ticketing systems
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy
- Familiarity with Ruckus/Brocade network switches
