With a growing team and a culture rooted in their Mission, Vision, and Values, they are seeking a Reconstruction Project Manager to help drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, adjusters, subcontractors, and property managers.

  • Understand insurance claims workflows and ensure proper communication, documentation, and financial controls.

  • Develop, monitor, and adjust project budgets and schedules.

  • Select, coordinate, and manage subcontractors; maintain strong local vendor relationships.

  • Spend significant time in the field overseeing progress, inspecting job sites, and maintaining quality control.

  • Resolve project issues proactively with a bias for action and a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Maintain Paul Davis standards for professionalism, safety, and compliance.

  • Use technology and modern communication tools to keep all stakeholders informed.

  • Deliver a high-level customer experience with empathy, reliability, and urgency.

Qualifications

To be successful as a Reconstruction Project Manager, you should have:

  • Restoration experience (required) — candidates without restoration will not be considered.

  • 3 years of reconstruction or construction project management experience

  • Strong understanding of insurance claims, estimates, budgets, and job costing.

  • Ability to manage $2M in annual project volume.

  • Working knowledge of construction methods, trades, and sequencing.

  • Experience with Xactimate or Symbility (or willingness and ability to learn quickly).

  • Strong organization, prioritization, communication, and active listening skills.

  • Independent, self-driven work style with high energy and a growth mindset.

  • Local knowledge of subcontractors and ability to build/maintain vendor relationships.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Southern California.

  • Ability to work nights/weekends as needed.

  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred.

  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including walking job sites, climbing stairs, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in variable indoor/outdoor conditions.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $75,000–$85,000 annual salary, depending on experience and certifications

  • Bonus opportunities based on profitability

  • Company vehicle, phone, and laptop

  • PTO, paid sick days, holidays

  • Health benefits and 401(k) matching

  • Leadership development and advancement opportunities

  • Strong culture, supportive team, and meaningful work helping families rebuild
