We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is a fast-growing design-build construction firm in the Bismarck area is seeking an experienced Jobsite Superintendent to lead high-end custom residential and commercial construction projects from groundbreaking through completion.

What You’ll Do
Project & Jobsite Leadership
- Manage day-to-day field operations across custom residential and commercial construction projects
- Ensure projects stay on schedule, on budget, and exceed quality expectations
- Lead subcontractors and field crews with professionalism and accountability
- Coordinate all on-site activities from mobilization through final completion
- Maintain organized, clean, and highly efficient jobsites
- Conduct regular site walkthroughs and proactively identify issues before they become problems
- Read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and construction plans
Construction Quality Control
- Verify all work is completed according to plans, specifications, and scope
- Identify discrepancies between plans, field conditions, and specifications
- Maintain exceptional craftsmanship standards throughout all phases of construction
- Coordinate pre-construction meetings and trade walkthroughs before critical phases begin
- Ensure all rough-ins, framing details, and finish work meet company standards
Scheduling & Trade Coordination
- Schedule subcontractors and coordinate workflow sequencing
- Verify trades are prepared before arriving onsite
- Coordinate material deliveries, returns, and site logistics
- Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate project expectations clearly
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and interior designers
Client Communication
- Maintain a high level of professionalism with homeowners and clients
- Provide consistent project updates and documentation
- Support client walkthroughs, punch list management, and project closeout
- Assist with homeowner orientations and post-construction documentation
Technology & Documentation
- Utilize construction technology platforms including CompanyCam and Bluebeam
- Upload daily jobsite photos and project updates
- Document field conditions, redlines, notes, and project changes
- Maintain accurate project communication and records
- Support SWPPP compliance and reporting requirements
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and safe jobsite practices
- Correct unsafe behavior immediately
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free jobsites
- Ensure stormwater and environmental controls are properly implemented
Hands-On Leadership
- Be willing to jump in and help when needed
- Lead by example with a “do whatever it takes” mentality
- Support field operations wherever necessary to keep projects moving
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Superintendent, Field Supervisor, Construction Manager, or similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial construction processes

Ability to read and interpret:
- Architectural plans
- Structural drawings
- Civil plans
- Construction specifications
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing schedules
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- High attention to detail and quality control
- Comfortable using construction technology and field software
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Experience
- Custom home or luxury residential construction experience
- Commercial construction experience
- Multifamily construction experience
- Design-build construction background
- Experience using Bluebeam, CompanyCam, or similar tools
- OSHA knowledge and jobsite safety management experience

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $70,000–$100,000 DOE
- Profit sharing opportunities for additional $30,000-$50,000 annually
