Position Summary
Bostwick Design Partnership is seeking a highly creative, collaborative Interior Designer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team in any of our three office locations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a design-first environment and brings curiosity and original thinking to every project. We are looking for a designer who isn’t just a problem-solver, but someone who actively rethinks challenges and generates fresh, thoughtful solutions.
The successful candidate will contribute to all phases of interior projects, from early concept development through construction administration. This position plays an important role in shaping the design narrative and creating environments that are both inventive and purposeful.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior designers, architects, consultants, and clients to develop thoughtful interior design solutions
- Apply creative thinking throughout the design process, from programming through detailing
- Support space planning, finish and furniture selection, and the development of unique design concepts
- Produce design documentation including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, millwork details, finish plans, and specifications
- Prepare engaging client presentations using visual storytelling
- Conduct research on materials, furnishings, and design trends to inform and inspire solutions
- Coordinate with consultants and vendors to support the delivery of design intent
- Assist with FF&E services including selection, bid documentation, and installation oversight
- Participate in site visits to monitor progress and provide design input
- Help foster a studio culture of creativity, mentorship, and shared learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts, Interior Design degree required, preferred from a CIDA Accredited program
- 6 to 10 years of professional interior design experience
- Workplace and/or Healthcare project experience preferred
- NCIDQ licensure eligibility required
- Proficiency in Revit required
- Passion for designing environments that are imaginative and human-centered
- LEED, WELL, or other sustainability credentials Accredited Professional is a plus
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept-driven, creative work
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000, contingent upon relevant experience, and discretionary, performance-based bonuses. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, and paid time off.
