Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for preschool and school-age children
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and growth
- Monitor and assess children's developmental progress and communicate updates to families
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, meals, and transitions
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support program goals and child development outcomes
- Maintain accurate attendance records, incident reports, and developmental documentation
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and the broader school community
- Experience working with preschool and/or school-age children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmentally appropriate practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Current EEC (Early Education and Care) certification or ability to obtain one
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check as required by state regulations
