The music teaching assistant provides assistance to the primary music instructor. This involves in-class practice and skills work, working with individual students, musical performance during school performances, and classroom instruction when the music teacher is absent. Extra responsibilities may include light administrative and organizational work. Applicants with experience or significant interest in a variety of different musical genres including classical, jazz, rock, pop, electronic, and folk will be given priority. This is a part-time (25 hours) , 10-month position.
Required Skills
Associate's, Vocational, or Technical Degree required, along with 5 to 8 years of experience.
