Role Description The Registration Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role located in Boston, MA, responsible for overseeing daily patient registration and front-desk operations within the dental school’s clinical environment. This role manages registration staff schedules, workload distribution, and performance, ensuring accurate patient intake, insurance verification, and adherence to institutional policies. The Registration Supervisor monitors workflow and patient wait times, resolves registration or billing-related issues, and collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient clinic operations. Daily tasks include training and coaching staff, updating procedures, maintaining compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements, and using practice management systems to generate reports and track key metrics. The role also involves providing a high level of customer service to patients, addressing questions, and supporting continuous improvement in registration processes.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, including experience managing front-desk or registration teams in a healthcare, dental, or academic clinical setting.
- Proficiency with patient registration, scheduling, and practice management or electronic health record systems, with attention to accuracy and data integrity.
