At Boston Speech Therapy, we are seeking a School Nurse for a full-time position at a school in Brockton, MA, offering $70-$80 per hour. This is a float position that is potentially a one-to-one. In this role, you will be responsible for providing personalized nursing care and support to students.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care and medical support to the students.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and authorized.
- Assess and respond to medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
- Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. LPNs will not be considered.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Prior experience working as a School Nurse or in a similar healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of pediatric health conditions and treatments.
- Ability to assess and respond to medical emergencies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
