We're seeking a Warehouse Operator & Driver to receive and pick goods, deliver supplies to restaurants and foodservice accounts, and assist in our Newton, MA warehouse. We have a great team in place that consists of a Warehouse manager, 3 drivers and a warehouse operator.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive at our Newton, MA warehouse at 6:30 am.
- This position is a mix of inside warehouse work and deliveries that will vary from day-to-day depending on the need.
- Load van and deliver smallwares and supplies, items such as glassware, pots and pans, and other items for a commercial kitchen.
- Keep track of all paperwork and signatures.
- Assist with receiving of incoming shipments and packing items onto the shelves, as well as picking and packing outgoing shipments and helping to get them loaded for deliveries to our customers.
- Communicate issues to your manager.
- Positive, friendly attitude with customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Greater Boston and surrounding areas
- Must be able to work on your feet all day and lift heavy equipment
- Bilingual a plus
- Ability to drive larger vehicles (16' or 26' box trucks) is a plus
- Valid driver's license is a requirement
- Must pass a background check
