The successful candidate will be a W2 employee, not an independent contractor.
Responsibilities:
- Be trained in our lessons program
- Keep internal lessons notes
- Prepare students for community performances and school performances
- May prepare students for competitions as BSMA rep, or for special auditions.
- Will teach small groups and bands (regular group pay rate - higher)
- At least 1 years' experience teaching singing and piano to ages 5 to Adult.
- Solid performance skills
- Additional instrument - a plus (Guitar, Bass)
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field preferred
- Ability to create a warm, engaging, and encouraging music learning experience in 1-on-1
- Comfortable leading small groups/bands, classroom management skills
- Must pass background test, showing suitability to teach children
- Can work independently, and follow program direction at times.
Salary : $27 - $38
