Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food prep tools
- Maintain high standards of food handling and safety practices throughout all stages of meal preparation
- Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting improvements based on kitchen needs
- Keep workstations clean and organized by following proper cleaning procedures before, during, and after shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service and ensure timely delivery of orders

Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Strong culinary skills including knife techniques, slicing methods, and recipe adherence
- Familiarity with food safety standards in production environments and safe food handling practices
