What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at Boston Retina?
Retina practice seeking an experienced Ophthalmic technician. Flexible schedule with varying work week hours. Some Saturdays may be required (1-2 at most - Salem), but not usaually needed. Must have reliable transportation. The right candidate will be friendly, a good communicator, and attentive to patient needs. They will also be proficient in history taking, assessing vision and obtaining tensions and performing OCT testing on Optovue and Heidelberg equipment. Responsibilities include other clinical support. If no experience, will train the right candidate. Competitive salary and benefits including 401k and travel reimbursement. Epic (EMR) experience preferred.
