Under general supervision and using appropriate current technology, performs responsible
accounting and auditing work, not requiring professional accounting knowledge, to ensure that
bus transportation vendor is paid accurately and on time.
Duties and Responsibilities
Required
High school diploma or equivalency
Basic computer skills, including word processing, email, and database programs
Knowledge of basic accounting principales
Knowledge of clerical office practices and procedures
Successfully completed appropriate coursework
At least one year basic accounting owrk experience or the equivalent
Ability to work extencded and/or flexible hours at peak times
Preferred
At least one year supervisory experience
Post secondary education or coursework
Location is Bolling
Hours are M-F, 9:00 am-4:45 pm

Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs verification of vendor goods and services and verifies vendor's use of billing
- Reviews, verifies, and, if necessary, researches invoices and processes these invoices if
- Maintains spreadsheet logs of invoices that are returned to vendor and of invoices that
- Files and copies invoices
- Responds to inquiries and requests for information and maintains frequent contact with
- Compiles financial information and assists in the preparation of reports
- Assists with the annual liquidated reserve, annual vehicle fixed asset report, and with
- Assists with audit vendor for contract compliance regarding management fee, workforce
- Maintains accurate records of accounts
- Processes requisitions, purchase orders, and voucher payments
- Processes payroll as needed
- May supervise and train subordinate account clerks as well as plan and assign their work
