Role Description
This is an on-site temporary role for a 7th Grade Math Teacher at The Ohrenberger School, located in West Roxbury, MA. The 7th Grade Math Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging math lessons, assessing student progress, and providing individualized support to students. The teacher will also be expected to collaborate with colleagues, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and understanding of middle school math concepts
- Classroom management and student engagement skills
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Experience in incorporating technology in the classroom is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification is preferred
