Boston North Properties is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator to oversee daily accounting functions and payroll operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and a solid understanding of accounts payable and payroll processes.
- Maintain general ledger and record financial transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial records
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Track expenses and ensure proper coding
- Assist with monthly and year-end financial reporting
- Support budgeting and cash flow tracking
- Assist with tax preparation and audits
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule
- Maintain payroll records and employee compensation data
- Ensure compliance with payroll taxes, deductions, and wage laws
- Coordinate payroll approvals with management
- 3 years of bookkeeping and/or payroll experience. Experience with property management a plus
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
