The Role
We’re seeking a versatile Producer / Editor who can shape compelling, brand-driven video content across digital platforms. You’ll partner with marketing, social media, creative, and operations teams to develop, produce, and execute video storytelling that amplifies Boston Legacy FC’s voice, mission, and fan engagement. You’ll be crafting striking, stylish, and engaging stories that grow the Boston Legacy brand and connect with fans.

You’ll partner with marketing, social media, creative, and operations teams to develop, produce, and execute video storytelling that amplifies Boston Legacy FC’s voice, mission, and fan engagement. You’ll be crafting striking, stylish, and engaging stories that grow the Boston Legacy brand and connect with fans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or support the editing of brand campaigns, club storytelling, social-first content, matchday features, and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with the Boston Legacy FC identity.
- Tailor edits and content strategy for specific platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, etc.), optimizing formats for performance, engagement, and reach.
- Deliver content that resonates with fans and reflects our values, by shaping narrative, tone, and emotional impact.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, social media, club operations, and external agencies/partners to bring concepts from ideation to final cut.
- Stay abreast of editing trends, new formats, cultural shifts, and social best practices to keep club content fresh and competitive.
- Support production logistics: gear prep, organizing shoots, rental coordination, light troubleshooting on-site.
- Generate and pitch new video feature ideas (e.g. “behind the scenes,” player profiles, community initiatives, club history) tailored for web and social.
- Occasionally assist on-location shoots (camera support, light direction, asset oversight).
- Other duties as assigned in support of the club’s media goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years in video editing, branded content, creative production, or similar roles (experience in sports, clubs, or agency preferred).
- Expert user of Adobe Premiere Pro; working experience with DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or other motion design tools is a plus.
- Proven ability to conceptualize and deliver brand-centric social-first video content.
- Strong editorial instincts: pacing, music, emotional storytelling, narrative cohesion.
- Comfortable handling occasional shoots — familiarity with camera operation, lighting, audio helpful but not mandatory.
- Passion for sports, soccer culture, storytelling, and fan engagement.
- Strong communication, collaboration, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines, juggling multiple projects and priorities.
- Comfortable testing ideas quickly, iterating on feedback, and making data-driven decisions without waiting for perfection.
- Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
