Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to execute plumbing projects accurately
- Operate hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, pipe threading equipment, and welding tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Conduct drain cleaning using specialized equipment to clear blockages and maintain water flow
- Perform plumbing system inspections, troubleshoot issues, and execute repairs promptly to minimize downtime
- Assist with remodeling projects by installing new fixtures, piping systems, and water supply lines
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections conducted for accountability and future reference
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance
- Hands-on experience with welding, drain cleaning equipment, plumbing inspection cameras, pipe threading tools, and power tools
- Knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems as well as construction site procedures
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety standards related to plumbing work
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating a company vehicle or heavy-duty trucks preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, working at heights or confined spaces, and performing manual tasks for extended periods
- Handyman experience or remodeling background is a plus
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installations or repairs
