Software Engineer - Atlas

Role

As a Software Engineer on the Atlas Systems Software team at Boston Dynamics, you’ll help deliver solutions with Atlas, our humanoid robot, to existing and new markets. This role is for you if you:

In this role, your work will directly improve the core product, as well as accelerate the rest of the product development team. To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be thoughtful in designs, speedy in execution, and collaborate well with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team.

Day-to-Day Activities Will Include

• Design, implement and test key software features in dynamic, high rate and fault tolerate real-time systems.
• Collaborate with teammates - other engineers, product, and operations - to understand key pain points and develop possible solutions.
• Debug and resolve important issues, and conduct post-mortems to prevent similar issues from happening in the future.
  
  

Desired Experience

• Bachelor’s of Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Good knowledge of Linux, Object Oriented programming, and real time programming concepts
• Intermediate experience with programming languages, such as python, C/C , Go or Rust.
• Minimum 1 year of software experience.
  
  

The base pay range for this position is between $88,000 to $110,000 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including, but not limited to internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Boston Dynamics offers a generous Benefits package including medical, dental vision, 401(k), paid time off and an annual bonus structure.
