What are the responsibilities and job description for the Atlas Technical Program Manager, Systems Software and Controls position at Boston Dynamics?
This role is a pivotal leadership position within the Atlas humanoid program, responsible for orchestrating the development and integration of the robot's most critical "brain" and "nervous system" components. You will bridge the gap between high-level controls research and the rigorous demands of production-grade systems software.
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Atlas Systems Software and Controls, you will directly support the Atlas program management office and engineering leadership to build achievable project plans for the humanoid’s core software stack. You will lead the identification of technical risks, manage complex interdependencies between hardware and software, and ensure the predictable execution of critical software milestones.
