In this position, you will assist patients with their daily living needs, provide compassionate care, and generally increase their quality of life. Responsibilities may include monitoring vital signs, assisting with hygiene needs, and communicating with nurses and doctors. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and willing to be an advocate for their patients. Responsibilities Assist the podiatrist with patient care, examinations, and in-office proceduresPrepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies following strict sterilization and infection control guidelinesObtain and document patient HPIsAdminister medications and dressings as directed by the podiatristProvide patient education related to foot care, wound care, and post-treatment instructionsPerform basic wound care, apply compression wraps, cut nails, and assist with orthotic fittings (training provided if needed)Take X-rays with a Tigerview portal device Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (EHR)Support office workflow, including patient scheduling, room turnover, and supply managementDeliver compassionate, professional care to patients of all agesQualificationsActive and unrestricted LPN licensePrevious experience in podiatry, wound care, or outpatient clinics is a plus (but not requiredStrong understanding of clinical procedures, infection control, and patient safety standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentCompassionate, patient-focused attitude
