Job Title: Administrative Assistant, Interdisciplinary Programs
Employment Type: Full-Time (35/hrs per week) NonExempt On-Site
Hiring Range: $26.32/hr to $32.88/hr. Pay rate commensurate with relevant experience.
The Administrative Assistant works as part of a team to support multiple Interdisciplinary Programs within the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences. This position is responsible for monitoring multiple budgets, event coordination, and the support of print and on-line communications for program offerings. The incumbent handles the day-to-day activities, supervision of student staff, and is often the first point of contact for visitors.
The position provides administrative support tothe Interdisciplinary Program directors and faculty. In addition, they providesupport for a range of other interdisciplinary minors and majors with eventplanning, food orders, and room reservations. They also review expensereports and payment requests to be sent to the Morrissey Service Center for processing.
The incumbent works with the directors and student services to build eachsemester's academic course offerings using Curriculum Management and EagleAppssystems. They provides support to students withdeclaration of Interdisciplinary majors and minors and by entering courseoverrides. They will respond to student questions about their degree audits andvarious program requirements.

Requirements
- One year of previous administrative experience required,preferably in a higher education setting.
- Some occasional evening work may be necessaryto support events.
