Seeking a full time RN with Oncology experience for the Pediatric Infusion center that will provide direct patient care and oversight. Salary $53/hr-$63/hr, negotiable based on experience. Pediatric nursing and Chemo experience required.
Brief Description:
Full Time RN with Pediatric Oncology experience needed for the Pediatric Infusion Center that will administer care to pediatric patients with Hematologic/Oncologic diagnosis receiving care in the outpatient setting. The Pediatric Infusion Center RN serves as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Evaluates, plans, implements, and documents nursing care for patients in need of intravenous chemo/biotherapy and supportive care medications. Accesses and manages central venous lines and performs peripheral IV insertion. Provides education to patients and families regarding intravenous therapy. Participates in quality improvement initiatives as an integral member of the team. When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements
- Pediatric nursing and Chemo experience required.
- NYS RN License
- Oncology experience
- PALS/BLS Certification
- ONS Certification
- Understanding expectation to obtain the ONS certification within first 6 months of employment
