The Hale Family Center for Families is dedicated to supporting patient families through their experience at Boston Children’s Hospital. Working with many departments across the hospital, the Hale Family Center for Families strives to create a home-away-from-home for all families during their time at Boston Children’s. The center is located on the main campus, in the main lobby .
We are currently seeking an Arabic speaking Patient Experience Representative to join our front desk team!
This Patient Experience Representative is 100% in person and will be responsible for:
- Patient Encounter Management:
- Providing positive and effective customer service that supports Center operations
- Collaborating with referring providers and practices
Check In / Check Out:
- Greeting and directing patients, families and visitors
- Monitoring daily schedule and coordinating flow with clinicians/supervisor
- Facilitating and directing patients
- Administrative:
- Recording and forwarding messages, triaging call for urgent information or services, initiating call for emergency services
- Providing routine clerical support as needed
To qualify, you must have:
- A high school level of education, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred
- The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations
- The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies
Preferred: Arabic speakers
Schedule 8am-4:30 pm or 10:30-7pm every other weekend
