**THIS IS A HOME-BASED POSITION THAT REQUIRES A PERSONAL VEHICLE**

Position Overview:

BBLC is seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians to provide ABA and early intervention services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We offer on-the-job training for those with a passion for working with children, and encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds (nannies, babysitters, teachers, childcare providers, paraprofessionals) to apply. Ideal candidate will be in the Cambridge, MA area have AFTERNOON availability 3:30PM - 5:30PM

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Foster independence and promote life skills, including social skills, hygiene, daily living skills, and motor skills.
  • Implement treatment and behavior plans designed by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).
  • Support and communicate effectively with families, RBTs, BCBA, and other team members to ensure each child’s needs are met.
  • Use technology (tablet/computer) to collect data for analysis and progress tracking.
  • Be proactive in your communication with the team and families.

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives!
  • An Associate's or Bachelor’s degree is required by the state of MA, preferably one in Human Services, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • At least 6 months of experience working with children (e.g., nannying, babysitting, teaching, childcare, paraprofessional, etc.) and/or individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs.
  • Personal vehicle is required for travel to clients’ homes.
