Position Overview: BBLC is seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians to provide early intervention services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We offer on-the-job training for those with a passion for working with children, and encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds (nannies, babysitters, teachers, childcare providers, paraprofessionals) to apply. Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available

THIS IS A HOME-BASED POSITION THAT REQUIRES A PERSONAL VEHICLE

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Foster independence and promote life skills, including social skills, hygiene, daily living skills, and motor skills.
• Implement treatment and behavior plans designed by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).
• Support and communicate effectively with families, RBTs, BCBA, and other team members to ensure each child’s needs are met.
• Use technology (tablet/computer) to collect data for analysis and progress tracking.
• Be proactive in your communication with the team and families.

Requirements:

• A passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives!
• An Associate's or Bachelor’s degree is required by the state of MA, preferably one in Human Services, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• At least 6 months of experience working with children (e.g., nannying, babysitting, teaching, childcare, paraprofessional, etc.) and/or individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs.
• Personal vehicle is required for travel to clients’ homes.
