Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate company delivery vehicles.
- Deliver products to customers following assigned routes and schedules.
- Load and unload materials from company vehicles and incoming delivery trucks using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.); assist with unpacking and organizing incoming stock orders.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle maintenance needs.
- Ensure fuel levels, fluid levels, and tire pressure are maintained.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Use provided technology (mobile apps, GPS, digital signature tools) for routing and delivery confirmations.
- Represent the company positively with professional communication and appearance.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions throughout the year.
- Comply with company vehicle-use policies (no personal use).
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Parts Department.
Requirements:
- Valid Class B CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in delivery, warehouse, or moving roles preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to operate various vehicles, including pickup trucks and flatbed delivery trucks.
- Proficiency with forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar equipment.
- Ability to use basic technology such as smartphones/tablets for routes and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries and proper documentation.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Monthly Saturday rotation, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
