Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and hands-on Social Media Specialist to take ownership of our online presence. In this role, you will be responsible for creating daily content, keeping our audience engaged, and growing our reach across multiple social media channels. You will focus heavily on creating short-form videos for TikTok, running our Facebook page with frequent posts, and actively participating in online communities like Space. This is an entry-level position, but you must have solid mobile video editing skills and a strong eye for content.
Key Responsibilities
- TikTok Content Creation: Plan, film, and edit short-form videos tailored for TikTok to showcase our brand and jump on relevant viral trends.
- Facebook Management: Write, schedule, and publish frequent posts on Facebook to keep our community informed and engaged.
- Platform Operations: Build and manage our brand presence on Space and other primary social channels.
- Community Engagement: Monitor post comments, answer direct messages, and interact with followers to build strong customer relationships.
- Performance Tracking: Track engagement, views, and reach to see what content works best and continuously improve our posts.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Entry-level position — previous professional experience is a plus, but passion, creativity, and a strong portfolio or portfolio-style examples matter most.
- Decent video editing skills: Hands-on experience editing short-form mobile videos using tools like CapCut, InShot, Premiere Rush, or native app editors.
- Great short-form copywriting skills for writing catchy post captions and video concepts.
- Strong knowledge of current social media trends, viral audio, and how platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Space work.
- Self-motivated and organized enough to maintain a frequent posting schedule.
Pay & Bonus Structure
- Hourly Rate: $12.50 / hour
- Bonuses: Opportunity for additional performance-based bonuses tied to engagement and account growth.
Pay: From $12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
